Danette Lowe, CFP®
Administrative Support Specialist
Danette Lowe, CFP®
As the President and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional at TruNorth Wealth Management, LLC, I've found my calling in helping pre-retirees confidently navigate the crucial decision of retirement. Our team is dedicated to guiding family-oriented couples from being net savers to net spenders. We invite you to join our extended family and experience the TruNorth Wealth difference.
My commitment to enhancing people's financial lives was kindled in 8th grade, sparked by a profile of a successful Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) professional. This marked the beginning of my journey to bring financial security to others.
Education and Experience
After earning a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, specializing in Finance from California State University, East Bay, I honed my skills as a Senior Financial Analyst at EurekaBank, FSB. Managing a $1.2 billion investment portfolio provided me with a comprehensive understanding of capital markets, which today aids me in evaluating clients' savings and setting them on a secure path to retirement.
In 2007, my dedication led to my dream of becoming a CFP® professional. Five years later, I launched TruNorth Wealth Management, LLC, where we deliver customized, transformative financial solutions.
Away from work, I cherish time with my family: my high school sweetheart, Derek, our sons, Jake and Brian, granddaughter, Isabel, and our rescue dog, Lexy.
I have a keen interest in photography, with a focus on nature. Our family adventures often lead us to the Sierra Nevada Mountains for various outdoor activities. I also find tranquility in knitting, quilting, and sewing, contributing to the 200+ creations donated to Chemo Caps for Kids.
Administrative Support Specialist
With my extensive background in banking and supporting Commonwealth advisors, I’m proud to contribute extreme attention to detail and my solutions-oriented focus to TruNorth, reinforcing the integrity and camaraderie we love to create with our clients and community.
At just 19 years old, I began my career as a bank teller. After working my way up to branch manager, I began looking for more flexibility. In 2003, I found Commonwealth advisors for whom I could provide professional administrative services and fell in love with the support role so integral to the success of financial advisors.
As my family grew, it became even more important that I have a flexible schedule so that I could hold true to my own personal values of being present, involved, and active with my children. This led me to launch my Virtual Assistant business in 2012, and I’ve been providing account opening and maintenance, client support, file organization, documentation, customer service, and other important problem-solving administrative tasks for Commonwealth advisors virtually ever since.
I love being behind the scenes taking care of the details while Danette focuses on providing a true transformation for her clients. My shy, yet self-driven qualities make me the perfect “right-hand” for Danette as she enhances and enriches the lives of others. I’m honored to be part of the TruNorth team as we share values, back each other up, and pursue balance together.
A Community-Centric Focus
The TruNorth Wealth Management team is passionate about giving back to our community. These are a few of the great organizations and causes that we support.
